Overview

The MFC 400 is a 4-wire Coriolis mass flow signal converter. Combined with the OPTIMASS mass flow sensors it forms the OPTIMASS 1400, OPTIMASS 2400, OPTIMASS 3400, OPTIMASS 6400 and OPTIMASS 7400 Coriolis mass flowmeters for gases and liquids. The signal converter is fully developed for safety applications acc. to the IEC 61508-2010 standard, allowing a diagnostic coverage of >96%. Its SIL 3 software certification ensures the lowest possible number of systematic software errors.
